Cris “Cyborg” Justino is one of the most dominant MMA fighters on the planet with an 18-fight win streak. The women’s featherweight champion will put her title on the line this Saturday night in the main event of UFC 219 squaring off against Holly Holm.
Justino is a -360 favorite to win this fight in Las Vegas at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. Since losing the first fight of her professional career back on May 17, 2005, Cyborg has been a one-woman wrecking crew across multiple organizations. Each of Justino’s last 12 wins have come by way of knockout and nine of her 16 career knockouts have come in the first round. Germaine de Randamie actually surrendered the UFC Featherweight title to avoid defending it against Justino.
Holm (+270 to win this fight), to her credit, isn’t afraid of anyone. She’s lost three of her last four fights since picking up a stunning knockout win over Ronda Rousey for the women’s bantamweight title back in 2015. The former champion snapped a three-fight losing streak with a win over Bethe Correia that came via one of her signature head kicks.
Cyborg is the clear favorite in this spot, but Holm’s knockout strength and strong kicks give her a shot at a big upset.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has established himself as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world with a perfect 24-0 record thus far as a professional.
The 29-year-old is an extremely versatile lightweight that has split his 24 wins by knockout, submission and decision at eight apiece. Nurmagomedov is a -305 favorite putting his undefeated streak on the line against Edson Barboza (+235)
Cynthia Calvillo will also put her undefeated record of 6-0 on the line Saturday as a -260 favorite against Carla Esparza (+200). Esparza was the first ever women’s strawweight champion in the UFC, and the winner of this fight could move into contention for a title fight in the near future.
Rounding out the top of the card at UFC 219 are Carlos Condit (-165) vs. Neil Magny (+135) and Khalil Rountree (-335) vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk (+255). Condit is favored in his return to the octagon despite owning a 2-5 record over his last seven fights.
